The Bochum Pass is a free pass for citizens with a low income. It enables discounts on many offers in the areas of culture, education, leisure and sport.
Who gets the Bochum Pass?
Anyone who lives in Bochum and receives one of the following benefits is eligible:
Citizen's income
Basic security
Social assistance
Housing benefit
Benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act
What are the benefits of the Bochum Pass?
With the pass you get e.g:
Reduced admission to museums, swimming pools and other leisure facilities
Discounted courses at educational institutions
50 % reduction on the dog tax for one dog
How does the passport work?
The pass is available digitally as a QR code. It can also be printed out. If required, the Office for Social Affairs in Husemann Karree can help.
Important:
The passport is only valid with an identity document.
It applies as long as the entitled person receives one of the benefits mentioned.
The pass is personal and may not be passed on.
