Childcare services at Bochum's municipal schools
What information is available?
At five Grundschulen, lessons and supervision are offered alternately throughout the school day (until around 4 p.m.) (rhythmized all-day).
The following childcare services are available at the municipal schools:
Open all-day school (OGS)
Reliable Grundschulen
Reliable Grundschulen plus vacation care
Educational lunchtime supervision
The childcare contract is concluded with the provider under private law. The school management decides on the admission of a child to the respective childcare offer together with the respective local provider.
An income-related parental contribution is payable for participation in the childcare services. The amount of the parental contribution is set out in the statutes of the City of Bochum on the levying of parental contributions for the use of childcare facilities, child daycare and extracurricular childcare services (parental contribution statutes) as amended.
Advice and information sessions can be held in the schools if required.

An appointment should be made before visiting. The administration building is not freely accessible.
