Guide to "Secondary schools in Bochum"

This is an information service for parents or guardians of a child who is about to change to a secondary school and needs information on possible types of school and schools within Bochum.

The School guide is updated annually and distributed as a printed brochure to all Grundschulen and Förderschulen in Bochum after the fall break. Every child in the fourth grade receives the guide to the school.

The brochure contains general information about transferring to a secondary school, the types of school and the possible qualifications. It also provides specific information on the individual municipal schools in the form of profiles.

The guide is also available digitally in plain language and in six languages:

Simple language, Arabic, English, Kurdish, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian.
