Absences from School (Notice of Absence)
What information is available on this?
The Bochum City School District is responsible for receiving reports of absences by Bochum students attending elementary, secondary, and Förderschulen.
Schools report absences to the school district office, which then follows up on them. If parents or guardians receive a notice regarding a child’s absences, they should contact the school in question.
Even if a family moves to Bochum and a child has not yet been enrolled in a school, a notice will be sent by the school district office.
